Tree Retention

Not all trees that are dead or considered hazardous need to be removed, providing that they can be made safe, dead and hollowed out trees can provide habitat to endangered wildlife.

Other significant trees may have ecological, cultural or historical significance that warrants that they should be retained.

Consult with a staff member from Tree and Garden or your local Council before proceeding with any tree removal operation to ensure that work on your tree meets the requirements of the Councils Tree Preservation Order (TPO).
